Celebrating our 70th season in 2023-2024, we are very excited to begin! Prepare to witness some of history’s greatest music come to life, performed live right before your eyes. Rest assured, this season is nothing short of extraordinary - our most remarkable lineup to date awaits you!

The season-long celebration begins when our Masterworks Series kicks off on Sunday, October 1, 2023 and features cellist Rachel Mercer who will perform Lalo’s Cello Concerto. We welcome many more wonderful guest artists throughout the year in the seven amazing Masterworks concerts that we have planned for you. Featuring music by the likes of Lalo, Dvorak, Vaughan Williams, Mazzoli, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Bach, Livingston, Rachmaninoff, Delius, Elgar, and Tchaikovsky, we cover the classics while also premiering several new and magnificent Canadian works.

The Pops Series sees the Kingston Symphony performing some of your favourite movie music including James Bond, Harry Potter, Casablanca, and Star Wars in Lights, Camera, Music on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Grand Theatre. Sarah Slean’s enchanting tribute to Joni Mitchell and the astonishing musical feats of phenom Leo P, round out the Pops Series in fine fashion.

Our Family Series boasts the return of crowd favourites like our Science at the Symphony concert on Sunday, November 5, 2023 and Harmon the Hound on Saturday, March 23, 2024. These concerts promise absolute fun for all ages.

It would not be a Kingston Symphony season without our cherished Candlelight Christmas concerts, a seasonal tradition. There are three evening performances on Monday, December 18, Tuesday, December 19, and Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
