Response to COVID-19

An Important Message from the Kingston Symphony Association:

First and foremost, on behalf of the Kingston Symphony Association, we hope you and your family are well. The Kingston Symphony Association’s highest priority is the health and welfare of all our patrons, musicians, volunteers, and staff.

Therefore, we regret to inform you that in response to COVID-19, we have made the decision to postpone or cancel all Kingston Symphony concerts and Volunteer Committee of the Kingston Symphony Association events for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season. The following concerts are cancelled and will be rescheduled in 2020-2021.

Symphonic Shenanigans: March 28, 2020 at the Grand Theatre
Cirque de la Symphonie: April 18 and 19, 2020 at the Grand Theatre
Beethoven 8 & 9: May 2 and 3, 2020 at the Isabel

We are committed to providing the utmost flexibility for our patrons. For those who have purchased tickets to any of the performances listed above, you have the following options:

  • Donate your tickets and receive a tax deduction. Many of you have expressed your support and asked what you can do for us. If you are able, one way to help is to turn your ticket into a donation to the Kingston Symphony Association. A tax receipt will be provided for the value of your ticket.
  • Credit your account for a future Kingston Symphony concert. Knowing we will have you in our audience in the coming season is significant.
  • Receive a refund for the value of your ticket.

Requests about donations, credits, and refunds can be made by e-mail at admin@kingstonsymphony.ca or by phone by leaving a message at 613-530-2050 or 613-546-9729. Please provide your name, phone number, and the name of the concert(s) for which you are calling.
