ABOUT THE CONCERT
Sadly, there is a persistent and erroneous belief that music written for film is somehow “lesser” than music written for the stage, opera, or ballet. Easily the strongest case against that silly assertion is the oeuvre of John Williams. We are thrilled to be presenting a concert, specially curated by Maestro Evan Mitchell, featuring Williams’ staggering output over the course of five decades. Without a doubt, this will be a concert filled with true Masterworks.

Our Meet the Music pre-concert talk will take place in the Rehearsal Hall at the Isabel beginning at 1:30 p.m. on the date of the concert. Admission is free with a concert ticket.
