Welcome to the Kingston Symphony's new website! We have been working hard over the last few months on this project and we are excited to introduce many improved features, making navigation easier and browsing more enjoyable. We have overhauled the look of our site to be more consistent with our brand, which you are familiar with in our brochures, programs, and advertising.
We have tried to organize all the information about the Kingston Symphony Association and its constituent members into a logical, neatly laid out menu system. We now have a dedicated news section to keep you informed about what is happening around the Kingston Symphony Association. Looking for something quickly? There is now a search icon (magnifying glass) in the top right corner of the screen. In addition to the search icon and news section, we added a dark mode to our website. Looking at certain websites at night can be tiring when staring at the screen’s blinding glare, so we put a toggle in the upper right corner of the screen, showing an icon of the sun for light mode and an icon of the moon for dark mode. If your device's operating system defaults to dark mode, so will kingstonsymphony.ca when you visit.
Some other key features include the following: A concert page index listing all concerts separated by series (including concert listing pages for Kingston Choral Society, Kingston Community Strings, and Kingston Youth Orchestra); an events page for all Kingston Symphony Volunteers sales; forms across the site to make reaching out to us about a particular topic easier; and perhaps most importantly, information that is accurate and current.
Feel free to explore the website, and if you have any questions or have any feedback, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to hear from you!
