The Kingston Symphony presents a variety of well-attended and successful fundraising events that engage a manifold of participants from our community.
BEAT BEETHOVEN
On June 2, 2019 the Kingston Symphony presented the Beat Beethoven Run, an annual fundraising event. The challenge is to complete an 8 km or 4 km run or walk before the Kingston Symphony finishes playing 50 minutes of Beethoven’s best music. After the run and walk take place, the Kingston Symphony performs a free concert in Confederation Park for all. Last year the event raised $16,000, attracted almost 1,000 participants, and brought out 500 spectators to the downtown core.

MUSIC LOVERS' HOUSE TOUR
On May 25, 2019 the Volunteer Committee of the Kingston Symphony Association hosted their 24th annual Music Lovers’ House Tour, a full day of touring some of the most interesting, well-designed, eclectic, and spectacular homes in Kingston. In addition, each destination on the tour features the talents of local musicians. The event attracts 600 participants each year and provides unique advertising opportunities with the sale of the passbooks.
