Digital Marketing Coordinator

The Kingston Symphony Association is looking for someone who has hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement to join us for eight weeks this summer. This position has been made possible through funding received from the Canada Summer Jobs program therefore applicants must meet be between 15-30 years of age, at the start of the funded position, be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or someone to whom Refugee Status has been granted/conferred, and have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).

Responsibilities

Implement marketing assets for use on our website, social media, email campaigns, and other communications platforms
Assist in planning and executing marketing and promotional campaigns across social media platforms
Create video content for use on social media and on our website
Assist in the development of audience engagement strategies, including interactive posts, polls, behind-the-scenes content, and trend-driven storytelling
Develop and administer social media content calendar including online evening listings
Ensure brand consistency in all content
Monitor social media channels, track audience interactions for all campaigns, and compile basic analytics reports
Assist with market research of past concert audiences as well as digital audiences

Qualifications

Strong interest in marketing, social media, and digital storytelling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to film and edit short mobile videos for social media, YouTube, and website
Creativity and willingness to experiment with new formats, ideas, and engagement initiatives
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
