Concerts

Anchored by the music of Joseph Haydn and Francois Joseph Gossec, we present music which portrays the idea of searching. As Haydn often added humour into his music, we add a bit of humour into our homophonous title, which sounds like hide-and-go-seek.

T.G.I.F. Opera returns this year to feature our special guests, the Battel Duo. Sisters Emma (soprano) and Sophia Battel (cello) will join us for a concert of art songs and opera classics for soprano and cello, including works by John Tavener, Verdi, Mozart, and Bizet.

After opening with the enduring, elegant and magical themes of Respighi’s Ancient Dances and Airs, we are thrust forward to a program inspired by music for the 'small' screen, television. This concert is sure to cap off a great season, so please join us.
