This afternoon’s program celebrates the creative process with the live premiere of John Estacio’s Domestic Divertimento, a work created and digitally premiered to international acclaim during the pandemic. We also premiere Cecilia Livingston’s song cycle Breath Alone, based on text by Canadian poet and novelist Anne Michaels, and sung by soprano Mireille Asselin. Rachmaninoff’s sumptuous Second Symphony completes the program, which we guarantee will be a feast for your ears!
