Composing the Kingston Symphony Association's Future

Published:

The Kingston Symphony Association is pleased to announce that its project, Composing the Kingston Symphony Association’s Future, has been approved to receive funding from the Community Services Recovery Fund, a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support charities and non-profits as they focus on how to adapt their organizations for pandemic recovery.

Administered by the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area, $477,000 in funding was given to seven community organizations through the Community Services Recovery Fund, and we are fortunate to be one of those recipients.

Working with Rob Wood of 8020 Info Inc., the Kingston Symphony Association will develop a new strategic plan to guide our work over the next three years. Balanced within the context of evolving musical direction and programming goals, audience development, marketing strategies, and financial sustainability, we will develop strategies to achieve these priorities while promoting diversity, accessibility, and inclusion in all aspects of our programming and operations.

We are extremely grateful for this support!
